I have been following the story through Facebook for a while, but they have gone public with it on EGL LiveJournal community. In the Netherlands, they are hosting a weekend of activities featuring Misako Aoki amd RinRin Doll. Kawaii International is filming the event to be aired on Japanese television channel NHK World. They have an
event page on Facebook going with ticket information. Some events going on during the weekend include a tea party, bingo with Lolita fashion items as prizes, performances by the special guests, and a day trip to a castle.
Oh, and in case you did not know yet,
Misako Aoki sings now. It is different - lots of auto tune! Not my cup of tea (see what I did there?), but I am sure she will have some kind of fan base for it based on her popularity as a Lolita fashion model. Anyone notice the guitarist to the left onstage breaking it down?
For those looking for the latest drama debacle, there is apparently this thing about international customer service in regards to Baby, the Stars Shine Bright. I personally have ordered directly from them several times before without any issue, but a few people are speaking up about being sent to their blacklist for "no reason". There is an
anonymous survey going around that was posted on EGL earlier if you have bought from them before to speak about your experience with them (extremely short, maybe 10 questions tops).
Baby, the Stars Shine Bright is also
having an outlet sale, although not as good as the Innocent World one going on.
Innocent World is having a sale that is making their items around the same cost as Bodyline right now (70% off in some cases), so if you have been dying to get some new brand at affordable prices, you cannot beat this sale right now. There is a clear umbrella with their logo for close to $3 USD right now - insane! If I had not just gotten 10 jumper skirts
in my last lucky pack from them, I would definitely purchase this adorable tartan one they have on sale for close to $60 USD. You just do not see those kind of low prices with brand, ever!
